July 28, 2005:
AMSA provides
an IV clincal workshop to students.
On this day, approximately 17 students
learned how to do intravenous insertions under
the guidance of 7 instructors. It was a great
success.
June 1, 2005:
AMSA holds
a physical diagnosis workshop.
AMSA held an educational workshop for
students so they could enhance their physical
diagnosis skills. The workshop was led by Doug
Dixon, RN and Robert Peters, EMTP both former
health care workers.
January 17, 2005:
Phi Chi revives after 3
years of inactivity
After 3 years of inactivity,
Phi Chi was revived after four students took
the initiative to set things in motion. These
four students were Anson Pham, Lawrence LeBlond,
Rami Tadros, and Ranjit Das. With the assistance
of the Phi Chi chapter from American University
of the Caribbean School of Medicine, the Sigma
Tau Chi Chapter was able to initiate 22 new
members for the year 2005.
