Summer IV Workshop

For the third consecutive semester, AMSA held an I.V. clinic for the St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine student body. Turnout for the event was exceptional with more than 40 students attending, representing all 5 basic science semesters. The aim of the clinic was to provide first- and second-year medical students with early instruction and practice of essential clinical skills. The clinic was a success thanks to the help of experienced instructors who were former medical technicians, nurses, and paramedics with extensive first aid training. In light of the high turnout and terrific reception, AMSA hopes to continue offering the I.V. workshop to the students of St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine.
