Ms.
Cameron showed me around. The campus
here has a lounge, computer room with 25
computers, laboratories, and library not
to mention administrative offices, faculty
offices and lecture halls. They also have
a cafeteria on campus. |

The time I spent there, I
was able to make a lot of new friends and learn
about their culture. One interesting aspect
of their culture was meal time. They usually
gather around in a big room, share meals in
a big plate and eat with their hand. I noticed
that husbands and wives do not eat together.
They eat breakfast at 11 am, lunch at 4 pm,
and dinner at 11 pm. The majority of the Senegalese
practice Islam. I met a few people that came
here from all over the world to study Islam.
I was able to learn more about the religion
and how interesting it is.

My trip to Senegal, Africa
has been a great experience and an eye opener.
It made me appreciate all the amenities and
facilities that we have in the US. I will go
back there and help out anytime I can. I want
to thank Dr. Leone and the staff of St. Christopher's
for giving me the opportunity to obtain the
experience and fulfill my dream. I believe the
experience and friends I've made will last a
life time and assist me in becoming a better
physician.
